Beautiful Leza,

Out of all of the retreats I have attended, this one felt the most outside of space and time. Brilliantly designed and beautifully lead, it seemed as though we truly reached beyond the veil to the more real. We experienced the truth of who we are. And we are stunning! Being responsible for my happiness is a joy, and I feel so happy to say that!

And what a lovely and lucious description of all the fun we shared! Thank you hardly expresses my gratitude, but it will have to do for now. Thank you.

Much Love and Many Blessings,
Keri

Holy cow, "generating happiness," I'm there. Just that one little phrase -- not little, actually, it's ENDLESSLY HUGE! -- is working on me today, after reading of your post.

I have so much appreciation and gratitude for this work, Leza. My excitement for Mexico is building and building... yay!

Love,
Martha

Hey, Leza -

Thanks so much for writing this post and for sharing it with those of us who were not in Santa Barbara this summer. I shall pass along this link, and I look forward with even more excitement about the retreat in December, and perhaps, a happiness retreat next summer!

love to and gratitude to you and Jeanine,
Laura

Dear Jeff,

I am really struck by this line in your comment: "for me, happiness has shed its saccharine countenance and become something i both claim and work towards with discipline and joy.." Boy does this nail it! It is such a satisfying discipline to hold! Thank you for your perspective and for always deepening the conversation in such a meaningful way!

leza, what a beautiful recap of our week together in santa barbara. it's been a fun challenge to return to what looks like my daily life, and to see the places where i have more freedom around my needs (remembering to look inward to meet them) and where i don't. as you said in your blog, that shift of perspective in itself is enough to make me want to shout joyfully to the full moon.

for me, happiness has shed its saccharine countenance and become something i both claim and work towards with discipline and joy. it used to seem shallow, unattainable and hedonistic; now, the pursuit of happiness has become a very fun, worthwhile and DOABLE focus in my life.

thanks to you and jeanine for an amazing, amazingly complex and satisfying week devoted to happiness. what a way to spend a week!
